Innovative Horticulture & Resource Centre
Dedicated exclusively for Individuals with Learning Disabilities including:
Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Challenging Needs & ADHD. Also caters for people with Mental Health illnesses including dementia, Alzheimer’s & schizophrenia.
We build on the individual’s experience through structured, professionally organised activities with person-centred plans, potentially leading to enhanced independence and integration into the wider community.
- Horticulture and many other activities including independent living skills, IT and cookery. Working on new courses to launch in 2012 including beekeeping, small animal-keeping, and many more.
- Courses may lead to NVQ qualification
- Partnership with East Surrey College
- Integrated with the local community. Shuttle service and mobility assistance
- Ideally placed in a country-setting, but still in close proximity to Merstham and Redhill near the M25/M23 interchange
- Accompanying carers welcome
