1983

Purchase of Grennell Lodge a late Victorian House - family owners reside upstairs. Conversion to cater for Elderly Mentally Infirm. In 6 weeks, all 12 beds filled. First Home of its sort in the region.

1985

First major expansion of the business - extension of Grennell to cater for 9 extra beds.

1987

A growing demand for Private Health Care and 1990s boom make it ideal expand. Chaldon Rise is purchased. Extensive reworking of derelict building and relandscaping of grounds.

1988

Chaldon Rise takes in first resident.

1990

Extension of bungalow to add 9 new ensuite bedrooms.

1993

Purchased Chipstead Lodge Rest Home. Ex-social services home. 26 beds. Providing Residential Care for those with Mental Health problems.

1993-1998

Addition of dedicated Occupational Therapy rooms and concervatories to Chaldon Rise and Grennell Lodge.

2002

All 3 Homes successfully acquired a Classic Home accreditation first time in February.

March 2003

All 3 Homes once again successfully acquired the Classic Home accreditation.

May 2003

Restructure Chaldon Rise Driveway for easier parking.

July 2003

Successfully accredited ISO9001 for Quality Control. Regina Stacey, QC Manager, will now implement the new strict standards.

August 2003

Very proud to be accredited an Investor in People. The recruitment of Danielle Skerritt, Human Resources Manager, will now help us implement new Training and Development programmes.

Celebrated 20 years of Care Unlimited. With Residents, Staff and friends old and new. A party to remember! With excellent support from staff and relatives.

March 2004

Work to commence with the proposed extension of Chipstead Lodge to create 10 new bedroom with ensuite facilities, as well as new communal reception rooms, and a new Activity Room.

Gradual role-out of new secure IT system.

February 2005

Chipstead Lodge extension completed. Rooms have been beautifully appointed. Grounds are now undergoing relandscaping, including front driveway to include bigger car park and new front lawn.

March 2005

Staff party held to bid Norman, a very popular member of staff working with us for 15 years, farewell as he leaves to live abroad with his family.
